A Comparative Evaluation of Automatic Speech Recognition Performance for European and Latin American Spanish using Whisper V3

We compared Whisper ASR transcription accuracy across European and Latin American Spanish. Using Word Error Rate analysis, we found consistently higher error rates for Latin American speakers.
